Whine and Dine Ride, April 17

First Whine and Dine of 2012

Riders at first Whine and Dine of 2012

About the road rides

The plan is for two options, both will be social. Mellow option will do some easy sixes, and may try some harder fives at an LM-M pace. QS option may do very challenging hills at a quicker M to MB pace. Route sheets provided on-line, on the blog, and a few on the ride. Meet at Summit Bikes, Main Street in Los Gatos, across the street from the Los Gatos Library. Rain or intense heat cancels. Burritos after. Be there around six-ish (I get off work at 5,) we roll around then. Typically another cyclist will lead the Quick Spinners option.

Please print a route sheet if you want one!

Mellow Option

Bullwinkle Plus a bit more!
This 13 mile 3 LM ride is a twist on the Bullwinkle ride that honors our now departed moose and throws in some scenic riding!

Quick Spinner Option

Villa Montalvo Ojai Short Option
This route takes cyclists up Villa Montalvo, Peach Hill and Ojai.

Mountain Bike Ride

The Mountain Bike ride is on and is being led by Tyler French,

No hike this week!

Alcohol and Los Gatos Whine and Dine Rides

Please note: Any eating of burritos and/or possible consumption of alcohol will only occur after these Whine and Dine rides. Consumption of alcoholic beverages, including possible brewskies, will not be occurring on the ride, only after! Please drink responsibly.

One Response to Whine and Dine Ride, April 17

  1. Lexington Reservoir to Hicks-Umunhum Hike on Saturday 4/21

Some friends and I are planning a 1-way 11.4 mile (2200’+, 1800′-) hike from Lexington Reservoir to Sierra Azul Preserve on Saturday. The hike approaches the top of both Soda Springs and Reynolds Road, and ends at the familiar Hicks-Umunhum intersection. Please contact me directly (via ACTC directory listing) if you’d like to go along. No ride credit, thought!
