Yes it is hard for me to believe it too. But, this is the last whine and dine regular season ride of 2009. As Tyler has pointed out, this ride is the WnD 10 year anniversary ride! Yes, we wrap up our 10th WnD season tooday. We are planning to have cake and other special treats to celebrate the occasion.
All the Whine and Dine Rides start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in front of Summit Bikes in Los Gatos, CA. After the rides we go out for fun and food at Una Mas in Los Gatos.
The Whine and Dine Mountain Bike Ride is listed for the same time as the road rides. I will be climbing slowly this year, so the pace is slow and social. The riders can influence which route we choose. The ride is listed for April, May, and June. If there is continued interest I will list it all summer. Meet at the same time and place as the road ride, Summit Bikes 6:00 PM. – Tyler French
This Ride is an ACTC Ride and there is ACTC ride credit for this option.

Be Green, Print Your Own Route Sheet (when they are available)
I am only printing a few route sheets to conserve paper. Riders are encouraged to print your own route sheets before the ride. This is the only way you can be sure to get a route sheet. I am tired of wasting so much paper.
My information is there will not be a hike. I have not confirmed this however.
Please note: Any eating of burritos and/or possible consumption of alcohol will only occur after these Whine and Dine rides. Consumption of alcoholic beverages, including possible brewskies, will not be occurring on the ride, only after! Please drink responsibly.

All right, with the season comming to an end, I wanted to get in a few goats in the area we have not done yet and or do some variations on them. So tonight we will climb Shannon backwords with a trip up Santa Rosa to soften the legs, then over Kennedy, whats next you say – you have gone by it but probably not up it – Teresita. This is the steepest street I know of so bring your climbing legs and watch your legs burst like the ripe Blackberry I ate this morning. But no, it is not over we still have to climb the steep Blackberry – Buritos will be deserved tonight (short and sweet).
Hope to see you tonight,
Ted
Hi All, I am a bit overwhelmed with the start of school and some new responsibilities. Time for a bike ride. To Hicks with it. We will climb the back side w/ a fast start through the neighborhoods to get us to New Almaden. I did not have time to post the route sheets so I will have plenty at the start. Hope to see you there.
Ted
We get to choose the climbs from the Saratoga Six sampler – We will probably end up w/ 4 of the Six. See you tonight. Route Sheets on Routes page of blog.

Richard Welch said in an e-mail, “If you want to advise the quick spinners, I’m virtual Ted again, and planning a simple, but painful ride – “The Reynolds and Harwood Shuffle…” I think they’ll get the gist from the title… I have plenty of route sheets.”

Hi all,
We will do Aztec Ridge with a trip over Ken then 1/2 Hicks. Here you have the option of retuning over Shannon or going out to Camden over to Harwood/Santa Rosa then over Shannon.
Hope to see you tonight.
Ted
Come visit the resting place of the hummingbirds (translation for Umunum). If you make it to the top, you will have done one of the most difficult rides we will do all summer, the only ride more difficult is Bolhman w/ the on Orbit option. Be prepared for steep grades rewarded w/ some spectacular views off of Mt Umunum. Hope to see you tonight. No route sheets since the ride is very straight forward.
Ted
